Summer 2016 Final Student Evaluation

​Teaching during the summer for the first time was a challenge for the schedule and literally compacting 16 weeks of information into 6 weeks. However, with collaboration and engagement with the students it turned out to be an amazing summer and learning experience.

Teaching Assistant Evaluation for Lifespan Developmental Counseling

​This was a wonderful experience and opportunity to work alongside Dr. Hurff while teaching lifespan development. I learned about new techniques and approaches to teach lifespan development.  One of the most impactful and sentimental moments from this course are the sharing of the critical incidents and the process that follows.

For my Counselor Educator Seminar we signed up to lead a discussion about a chapter in our textbook.  I chose teaching family therapy.  My main goal was to invite a discussion about how we are to teach a new language and concept to counselors in training.

Final Evaluation of Supervision

During my first semester as a doctoral student in the Fall of 2015 I was in a practicum of supervision course.  I gained skills to learn how to develop into the role of a clinical supervisor. I practice from constructivist, reality/choice, and Integrated Developmental Supervision models.
