​Teaching during the summer for the first time was a challenge for the schedule and literally compacting 16 weeks of information into 6 weeks. However, with collaboration and engagement with the students it turned out to be an amazing summer and learning experience.

This is the second time I had the privilege of teaching SDS3481: Alcohol and Drug Abuse.  This has been an extremely reward course to teach as the material is relevant and life changing for the students and myself.  I have continually evolved as an instructor while teaching this course.  Please follow the link to view my final student evaluations.

​This was a wonderful experience and opportunity to work alongside Dr. Hurff while teaching lifespan development. I learned about new techniques and approaches to teach lifespan development.  One of the most impactful and sentimental moments from this course are the sharing of the critical incidents and the process that follows.

This was an honor and pleasure having the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Silvia Echevarria-Doan. For my Counselor Educator Seminar we signed up to lead a discussion about a chapter in our textbook.  I chose teaching family therapy.  My main goal was to invite a discussion about how we are to teach a new language and concept to counselors in training.
